Finished my exams, now just have to wait a crap of a lot of time to get my results, as usual. I'm kinda nervous about 2 of them but I think it'll be alright, I always tend to underestimate my own work. However I really don't wanna have to retake them in September >.<

Starting this week I'll be off to my friends in Alba Iulia, I'm starting to feel more and more imprisoned in this city. I was just thinking these days that perhaps I got so used to having a trip during the summer holiday that once summer comes I start feeling more and more anxious in Bucharest, although usually I'm really happy living here. Ironically however, once I get to the destination place and start getting used to the city, I immediately start feeling "whatever", so I guess that could also apply for foreign countries in my case. Which in my opinion is a good thing, that way I'll be able to see more places since I won't be tempted by many to return to them over and over again(unless it's Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing, Taipei and other Asian major cities that I really wanna visit many times). Speaking of which, maybe in autumn I'll be heading for my first foreign trip, to Budapest. I would also like to participate to Japan Expo in Paris next year , will see if I have the money and the time for it, since it'll be the second and last year of my master's degree.

About art and stuff... I'm currently drawing a minimum of 2 sketches/day to really exercise my hand, as well as anatomy, poses and perspective. I bought this baby [link] from the Book Fest in Bucharest - a book fair held annually, offering nice discounts - and now I'm practically eating anatomy on bread everyday. Also experimenting with coloring styles, chiaroscuro and light, it seems I lack a lot in these fields(must start using the classic painters' albums my parents have, always had a soft spot for Aivazovsky's amazing seascapes and lighting ) At least I have the sketch ready for my NijiKon products, yet I won't start coloring it until I know for sure I can make a decent job. And for that I must study more artists' works.

And... that's kinda it I guess. Will be back with more news... sometimes in the future I guess. Also expect a dA account change from me, either this year or during 2010, depending on how much time need my drawing and coloring skills to improve(hopefully not too much ) For you guys: have a happy summer, enjoy your trips and free time and see ya soon!
